Alter Ego Explodes
In the best sense of the word, that is!

Alter Ego is pleased to welcome Martin Anand, Shaun Ellis, Kelly "K-Fresh" Frazier, and Santos Mancillas to the team. These are the guys who put the time and work in to see to the success of the Alter Ego artists and performers. While each of them comes with their own special talents, together...well, you'll see the fruits of their labor in the upcoming weeks...!

Nomadico
Those out in NYC are aware of PS1, but even if you don't, thanks to the 'net, you can find out about the spot that got rocked recently by Nomadico (aka DJ Dex)! The event was called "Warm Up" and that's what he did, making the hot NYC summer even hotter. Don't believe us? See for yourself at Naheedence! Hear his mix for yourself at the PS1 site! And hear in his own words how he became Nomadico in an interview with WPS1's Jeannie Hopper !

Model 500
Ok, so Model 500 has been on tour, letting folks know about the origins of the sound, but they're not done! Far from it. While there are more shows on the horizon for the band led by the Godfather of Techno, there's also some buzz around the NEW tracks being worked on for an upcoming VINYL single. Don't worry digital denizens, there are some things planned for you too! Stay tuned for more dates and...MUSIC!

Aquanauts
This funk based band has links to Interstellar Fugitives as well as the infamous electronic band Drexicya. For a long time they only existed on wax, but on Memorial Day Weekend, they surfaced in Detroit for their first live performance. If you weren't one of "those who know" and were forced to hear your friends talk about them later and think, "why the hell did I go to that stupid XX party when I could've gone to the UR party and seen these guys!"...never fear! They'll be resurfacing in Detroit before heading over to Holland to wreak sonic destruction playing what one listener described as "techno-punk"!

DJ Rhenalt
While he has rocked crowds across the globe as a DJ, DJ Rhenalt is not content to sit on his laurels, and is branching off into the realm of production! And how is he progressing? Well, the folks over at www.houseproducer.net seem to be pleased! Recently his 4 tracks were the top four at the portal, and now he's got five in the top 10. Can a release be too far behind???

Nomadico
Time Out New York had some very nice things to say about Nomadico's new remix of Nublu Orchestra's Sketches of New York. For those of you who don't know, Nublu is an experimental jazz group, led by Butch Morris, famous for his style of directing improvisating musicians called Conduction. For those of you who check the details, you'll also notice that Nomadico brings his Fugitive bretheren, Ray 7 to contribute a mix as well. This promises to be one of those hard to find DJ specials, so get it while you can! (Yes, we know, it's not the easiest thing to read but copy and paste the image in your favorite program and see for yourself!)

UR's Bastille Day
It's Bastille Day all over again as UR infects the populace of Detroit and beyond with the Bastille Day video! Inspired by several tracks from the Electronic Warfare 2.0 project, the video tells the story of...well, we're not telling, just see for yourself!

skurge

DJ Skurge
DJ Skurge is busy as usual! Not only is he finishing up work on his latest mix project for Japan's Underground Gallery, but he's hard at work on new tracks with his bandmates in both Model 500 and the Aquanauts...

rudiman

Shawn Rudiman
Rudiman ventures over to the continent, the European continent to be exact, to do a series of shows with the talented Kenny Black. Rudiman was the man responsible for an incredible remix on the already fantastic Kenny Black's Reconnected Back From Outer Spaced ep...

Just turning 20, this young sax playing phenom has already turned heads, playing with everyone from jazz vets like Chick Corea, gospel greats like Yolanda Adams, and techno legends Underground Resistance. Stay tuned for more on this future legend.
