The musical math may seem strange, but when you’re talking about Quantum Digital, it makes perfect sense!

Quantum Digital is a concept that functions as a band. The band part is easy: musicians Jon Dixon, Darell Campbell, Nate Winn, and Lawrence Washington came together to play in a different way. Having been exposed to a number of different instruments and musics, they were seeking to explore the idea of music as a thing in and of itself. So the idea of a musician playing a particular instrument was not as important as the music coming from it.

And from that, the concept evolved, and they asked themselves, “What if music really WAS the answer?” Those four men come together using multiple instruments as tools, using whichever ones needed to express that musical answer. And while “fusion” is the term most easily applied to the music of Quantum Digital, the blend of jazz, psychedelica, electronica, and soul exists in it’s own state.
