That is, we’ve just added one of Detroit’s best kept secrets, iLLiTe to the team! This musical storyteller performs as half of the duo Octane & Illite outside of his own projects, most notably the underground masterpiece “Creme de la Creme”, a full length CD that’s currently undergoing some updating. URB Magazine has him as one of the Next 1000, and with good reason. You can either check him live or right here in his video “Alwayz” from the Nick Speed produced compilation “D-Tour”. Shot, directed, and edited by Gerard Victor, all of downtown Detroit was cordoned off to make certain nobody stepped in front of the camera for those wide angle shots of the city.
