Yes folks, there’s no more famous quote concerning techno music than Derrick May’s “techno is like Kraftwerk and George Clinton stuck together in an elevator.” And Kraftwerk has had a longstanding relationship with the Motor City, so when the New York Times thought to do a piece on the iconic electronic band, it only made sense to get some words of praise from the likes of Juan Atkins and Mad Mike Banks!
