TodaysArt features Jesse Saunders, Aaron-Carl, DJ Duct, and Guillamino!

Ok, first off, TodaysArt is one of the most innovative festivals out there, an intersection of music, dance, and technology where anything is possible.  Given this, we at Alter Ego are proud to say that four artists will be coming to the Hague this weekend to bring musical mayhem to the “Conflict” themed festival.

Jesse Saunders is the house music originator, a legend that continues to inspire.  He’s coming in to show the Hague how it’s done! 2009 marks the 25th anniversary of house music, and this man is leading the way at Paard!

Aaron-Carl has been banging the decks for over 10 years as well as producing tracks that have ranged from sparse, industrial sounding house to gospel tinged shout fests. He’ll be bringing the noise to Paard!

DJ Duct, the turntablist who uses just one turntable, will be performing alongside Hank Shocklee from the Bomb Squad (please know who these guys are!) and Detroit hip hop phenomena Guilty Simpson at the Theater A/H Spui!

Guillamino comes to the Theater A/H Spui as well, but he’s not alone, bringing his full band for some eclectic electronic experimental funk blended with hip hop and pop grooves.  Sounds impossible?  That’s what this man specializes in!

About

Alter Ego Management and Booking was formed to serve both the artists represented and the fans of those artists. Founded in Detroit, there was a commitment to seeing the success of clients in a city that, while loaded with talent, lacked the supporting industries to benefit from that talent. Today Alter Ego boasts a international lineup consisting of not only established talent, but up and coming artists as well.
